Neighborhoods In The Blink Of An Eye: Hollywood Hills

The dynamic and invigorating culture that permeates Los Angeles does not have to compromise relaxed and tranquil living. Nestled in the hills overlooking Hollywood as it’s namesake suggests, Hollywood Hills offers respite from the pace of city life, while retaining direct access into the heart of Los Angeles.

It is this duality which makes Hollywood Hills so desirable. The original intention of a “hillside escape” with small town charm remains an iconic fixture, while the bustling nightlife of “Sunset Strip” and ease of access into the surrounding regions ensures you get the best of both lifestyles.

Stretching from Griffith Park in the East to Fryman Canyon Park to the West, Hollywood Hills is divided by the 101 freeway with the East retaining much of it’s original historical and architectural charm (circa 1920 – 1970) and the West exhibiting more modern/contemporary architecture. Whether you dwell on the East or the West, you will be witness to one of the most stunning vistas Los Angeles has to offer.

Single Family Home Price Range: The majority of sales in the Hollywood Hills area go for over $1M, although, if you dig hard enough you can still find a hidden gem for an alternative to a condo, or a corky one/two bedroom. However, the “Million Dollar View” rule definitely applies here with homes often going well into the tens of millions, bolstered by innovative development and the star studded culture which envelops the area.

Condo Price Range: Between the $500K – $1M mark Hollywood Hills offers a range of condos nestled near its base. Predictably, as you ascend the hills so does the price. However, with the view and exclusivity they offer it’s easy to see why these condos remain a popular choice.

Sincerely,
